Fatigue Science · ReadiWatch
See fatigue before the shift starts
ReadiWatch is a wrist-worn watch that records how each worker slept. From that data, the Readi platform forecasts their fatigue hour by hour and warns both the worker and their supervisor before the risk turns critical.
ReadiWatch is Fatigue Science's (Canada) wearable for managing sleep-related fatigue in shift-based operations. The watch records each person's sleep duration and quality; the SAFTE biomathematical model, developed by the U.S. Army, turns that sleep into a 0–100 ReadiScore of alertness and an hour-by-hour forecast up to 18 hours ahead. When the forecast crosses the threshold your operation sets, the watch alerts the worker and the supervisor gets a warning on their phone one hour before critical fatigue. Endeavant represents Fatigue Science in Peru.
How it works
The forecast comes from each person's actual sleep. Five steps, and all the worker has to do is wear the watch.
The watch records sleep
ReadiWatch automatically measures each day's sleep duration and quality, with nothing for the wearer to do.
SAFTE computes the ReadiScore
Sleep data runs through the SAFTE model to produce a 0–100 alertness ReadiScore: higher means well-rested, lower means elevated fatigue risk.
Hour-by-hour forecast
The platform projects each crew member's fatigue level up to 18 hours ahead.
Alerts to worker and supervisor
The watch alerts the worker directly, and the supervisor is warned on their phone or tablet one hour before critical fatigue.
Intervention log
The supervisor records the check-in or intervention with one tap. The log is stored, with optional notes, and can be exported.

What the supervisor sees
The information reaches whoever assigns the shift, early enough to change it.
Per-person fatigue forecast
Each worker's forecast is pushed straight to the supervisor's phone or tablet.
One hour of warning
Supervisor alerts go out one hour before critical fatigue, leaving room to reassign, pause or check in.
Your own thresholds
Each company defines what counts as fatigued: for example, reviewing anyone below a ReadiScore of 70 or 75.
Exportable records
Every check-in and intervention is logged, retrievable through a secure interface or API, and exportable.
Crew heatmaps
They show which upcoming shifts carry the most fatigue, down to the time of day.
The science behind the ReadiScore
The forecast rests on a published model and a sensor validated against the clinical standard for sleep measurement.

ReadiWatch and anti-fatigue cameras
The two technologies cover different moments of the same risk, and they can be used together.
ReadiWatch · before the shift
Forecasts fatigue from the previous night's sleep, to decide who goes out and when. It works for drivers, equipment operators and plant staff alike.
DMS cameras · while driving
Endeavant smart cameras watch the driver in the cab and alert on the spot for closed eyes, nodding, yawning or distraction.
Frequently asked questions
What is ReadiWatch?
It is Fatigue Science's wrist-worn watch for managing sleep-related fatigue. It records each worker's sleep duration and quality and, using the SAFTE model, forecasts their fatigue hour by hour up to 18 hours ahead, with alerts on the wrist and to the supervisor.
What is the ReadiScore?
A personal alertness score on a 0 to 100 scale. A high ReadiScore means the person is well-rested and alert; a low one means elevated fatigue risk. Each company sets its own threshold, for example 70 or 75.
What is the forecast based on?
On the SAFTE biomathematical fatigue model, developed by the U.S. Army and validated by the U.S. Department of Transportation and the FAA. The input is the actual sleep the watch records.
How accurate is the sleep tracking?
Fatigue Science reports that ReadiWatch is 93% accurate at telling sleep from wake compared with clinical polysomnography, the laboratory standard.
Who gets alerted, and when?
The watch alerts the worker, and the supervisor is warned on their phone or tablet one hour before critical fatigue, with time to step in.
Does it replace DMS anti-fatigue cameras?
No, it complements them. ReadiWatch forecasts fatigue before the shift from sleep data; the DMS camera detects signs of fatigue and distraction in the cab while driving.
