What it detects in the driver

The Avant 8 DMS tracks the driver's face frame by frame and sees at night by infrared, with a photobiological certificate, so the light does not harm the eyes. Here is how AI fatigue detection works.

Avant units process on board, so the in-cab alert does not depend on signal. Every event uploads to Endeavant Cloud with its video and Endeavant's 24/7 Control Center validates it.

What does the Avant 8 add over the Avant 5?
Compared with the Avant 5, the Avant 8 adds three more channels to cover cab, road, sides, reverse and tray at once, a 1 TB solid-state drive on top of the two SD cards, a status LCD on the unit itself and MIL-STD-810H certification. It keeps the biometric DMS PRO, ADAS with pedestrians and BSD radar.
Does it work on mining trucks?
Yes. The Avant 8 is built for heavy mining transport fleets and trucks such as the CAT 793 and 789: it covers cab, road, sides, reverse and tray in 360°, with MIL-STD-810H vibration and shock certification and a bolted metal housing that holds calibration under dust and vibration.
What happens in areas without coverage?
The Avant 8 in-cab alert is the same with or without signal, because the unit processes on board, including underground and on high-altitude routes. The video stays in the recorder's memory with time and position, and uploads to Endeavant Cloud on its own when signal returns, so no event is lost.
Who reviews the alerts?
Endeavant's 24/7 Control Center validates every Avant 8 event with video from all 8 cameras: it confirms whether it is real or a false positive, talks to the cab if needed and notifies your supervisor on WhatsApp with the evidence. If the site has its own monitoring room, it works on the same platform.
Does the Avant 8 work at night and in dust?
Yes. The Avant 8 DMS PRO sees at night by infrared, with a photobiological certificate ensuring the light does not harm the operator's eyes, and the cab camera has night vision. The bolted metal housing and MIL-STD-810H certification keep installation and calibration intact under vibration, shock and dust.
How long does the Avant 8 installation take?
Two to three hours per vehicle, with Endeavant technicians across northern, central and southern Peru. The technician mounts the recorder and the cab, road, side, reverse and tray cameras your operation defines, with routing and fixings built to last, and leaves the setup done the same day.
